There is going to be things that are beyond our control

“The certain things are within our control and certain things are completely beyond our control.”

After you have done your best to prepare and even be chosen. But when your turn comes to perform you don’t have a clue. It’s completely beyond your control. You can do your best in preparing for the exam in college and school. But what the question paper? how will it come? what would the questions be? Are completely beyond your control.

I think there is one aspect that we all need to accept and come to terms in life. There is going to be things that are beyond our control. Let’s not fight this back and let’s not come into the mode of controllership thinking that everything is in my hands. This thinking can disappoint us, frustrate us, when things do not go our way.

So there is one aspect we have to accept is that there is going to be things that don’t go my way. And everything doesn’t go by my watch. Life has its own watch. The higher power has their watch.

I will explain this thing with a little interesting story

Consider the bulb in your room. It’s quite amazing that this bulb giving there the light but there are many other bulbs in your storeroom which are waiting there to come in your room and give their light so that you can study. When will that bulb in the storeroom ever get a chance to come up here? No one knows. That’s the beauty of life.

Is the bulb up here last forever? No bulb has ever lasted forever. No bulb will last forever. No speaker has lasted forever and no speaker will last forever. No actor has lasted forever and no actor will last forever in terms of there fame. No athlete, no sportsperson has lasted forever and no sportsperson will last forever just like the bulb.

Everyone has their time everyone had their day and their day doesn’t last forever.

Which basically means the bulb here won’t be here forever. One day the bulb in the storeroom will come to your room to light up your room. But you know at this time the question in the mind of the bulb inside the storeroom is how do I continue till the end? How to stay alive or motivated until his chance arrives?

I think the parameter the principle, the value, the ethic, that helps us to continue with perseverance and patience is hope. Hope is that one element that can keep us going the worst thing to happen in life is to lose hope and be hopeless and if you are sitting there and waiting for your turn to come.

Hope against hope one day I will also have my time and my place when how we do not know because these are factors that are completely beyond our control.

But that bulb will one day be there and there is a lot of hope.
